Story Summary:

Reed, an average student at Apple Lake, finds a stroke of luck as he advances to the next grade. His “sister” Layna introduces him to the Mysteria Club, and his “all-powerful” best friend, Charles, lends a hand. After a decade of singledom, Reed unexpectedly gains a girlfriend in the lovely and independent Persephone. Their relationship rapidly intensifies in just a few months.

Yet, Reed’s seemingly perfect life takes a backseat to an inconspicuous investigation. When Layna shares the urban legend of the “Vtuber Disappearance Incident,” Reed initially dismisses it as fake news. With Persephone’s support, they pinpoint the rumored location, No. 33 Layman Street, and courageously enter the building to uncover the truth of the incident. However, hidden within the dilapidated building, they encounter not only deception and falsehoods but also other enigmatic entities.
